Joe Mullins to host Front Porch Fellowship

Joe MullinsSinging News Radio and Salem Media Group have announced that Joe Mullins will be the new host of their popular Front Porch Fellowship radio program. The show is syndicated across 140 independent stations in the US and Canada each week, and broadcast live at singingnewsradio.com each Saturday and Sunday at 5:00 p.m. (ET).

Front Porch Fellowship gained popularity under Les Butler who had served as host since 1998, and is now moving more into television and audio production.

Mullins is well-known in the bluegrass community for his radio work at Classic Country Radio, broadcast on several frequencies in southern Ohio, and for his music career with The Traditional Grass and now The Radio Ramblers. Front Porch Fellowship will be produced by his son, Daniel Mullins, using the facilities at WBZI in Xenia, OH.

Joe, who is already one of the busiest guys in bluegrass, is looking forward to taking on this new responsibility.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to host Front Porch Fellowship. What a blessing! Presenting current and classic bluegrass Gospel music on radio has been a lifelong passion of mine. Delivering favorite hymns by the Stanley Brothers, Doyle Lawson and other Hall of Fame artists alongside new talent will be part of each broadcast. Don’t miss the Front Porch Fellowship each weekend!”

Recordings to be considered for inclusion on the show should be directed to:

Classic Country Radio/Front Porch Fellowship

Xenia, OH 45385

Congratulations to Joe – and to Salem Media!
