Jerry Douglas at the Musician Portrait Project

Jerry Douglas is the latest artist to be featured in the Musician Portrait Project, a series of moving portraits by photographer Derek Brad.

In each portrait, Brad uses a high definition video camera to create a brief black & white video portrait of prominent musical artists. His subjects are given wide latitude in how they will appear, and in a major twist for them, the videos are presented without audio.

At some future point, Derek plans to assemble all these portraits into a gallery installation, where each video displays on its own screen.

Jerry is captured on stage pre-show, following his habit of making designs from old set lists.
