Jason Hinshaw to KRACE

Kevin Richardson and Cuttin’ Edge have announced that Jason Hinshaw has joined the band on fiddle.

He’ll be working alongside Richardson on guitar and vocals, Scott Burgess on bass, Boyd Hulin on mandolin, and Chris Ward on banjo.

Kevin speaks highly of his newest band member.

“We are delighted to welcome fiddle player, Jason Hinshaw, to the band! Jason and his wife Amanda make their home in Denton, NC.

He began his musical journey when he was very young, and actually started out on guitar at 8 years old. However, he changed to fiddle at 9, and that is where his talents really blossomed. His father was and is a big influence in his life, exposing him to this music as a youngster.

He began his first band relationship at the ripe old age of 10 when he joined the Gospel group, The Davis Brothers and Barbara. Jason played with them for almost 9 years until, he moved onto his next Gospel adventure with the band, Solid Foundation.

Jason is a strong fiddle player and vocalist for KRACE and we are thrilled to have him!”

Here’s a recent video of the band in Denton, NC this Summer, performing a song from their debut, self-titled CD, Blue Eyed Girl.

Keep up with KRACE online.
