James King, known as The Bluegrass Storyteller for his special skill in delivering ballads, has announced his new affiliation with Echo Mountain Entertainment. Going forward they will be handling all booking and promotional activity regarding King and his touring act, The James King Band.

This has been a rough year for King, who spent several weeks hospitalized in both Missouri and Virginia. Emergency gall bladder surgery was required when he took ill upon arriving at a show in Branson back in May, which uncovered a number of complicating issues that have also been addressed.
James is back on the circuit while he rebuilds his strength and, though he is doing his shows seated for the time being, his voice is as strong as ever.
