We have learned that James King remains hospitalized, and has been transferred from Branson to Springfield, Missouri for specialized treatment. He was moved on Thursday, but was too weak to undergo the procedure at that time.
On Friday a filter was inserted to guard against blood clots moving through his system. James has been sedated since Friday, and is recovering from both that procedure and gall bladder surgery on May 19.
At this point no release date has been projected. All show dates through June 9 have been cancelled.
His wife Julie asks for continued prayers, and says that friends and fans can write to him at:
P.O. Box 10179
Danville, Virginia 24543
She will see that he receives them.
