Earlier this month, when we posted the news that Daniel Patrick was leaving The Roys, we mentioned that he was starting up a new group with his sister, Samantha. They will be called The Patricks, and will specialize in bluegrass and Gospel singing featuring sibling harmony. Keeping the family vibe, Robert Patrick will be playing guitar and Debbie Patrick (their mom) will be on bass.
Samantha’s singing will be the focus of the group.
Daniel shared a few words about his time with The Roys, and this brief demo video to introduce the new act.
“Touring with The Roys for almost a year and a half has been an amazing experience and I am very blessed and thankful for the opportunity. From debuting on The Grand Ole Opry (at age 18) to playing many shows all across the United States and Canada, I had a great time with great people.
As one adventure ends another begins. The time has now come to start a new journey. My sister, Samantha Patrick and I are starting our own band, The Patricks. Our official band page is now on Facebook. Videos and updates are coming soon!
