Introducing the Clay Hess Band

Clay Hess has his new band in place and is booking shows for the upcoming festival season. Clay handled lead guitar duties for Sierra Hull and Highway 111 until last month.

Joining him to tour in support of his solo album, Rain, are Ryan Moyers on mandolin, Josh Hymer on banjo, Irl Hees on bass and Clay’s son Brennan on rhythm guitar.

Josh played with the Bartley Brothers and most recently with David Parmley and Continental Divide. Ryan was a member of the Rough Edges Band and Irl held down the low end for the Cleverlys. Brennan appeared at Clay’s CD release party during the IBMA conference last fall, and proved himself to be a solid picker and harmony singer.
