If I Was A Ramblin’ Man from Cascade Crescendo

Cascade CrescendoCascade Crescendo is a relatively new bluegrass band based in Portland, OR with something of a jamgrass/newgrass bent. Working as a quartet, they formed in 2013 and have been working the club and festival scene in the Pacific Northwest ever since.

Their debut recording, Caught In The Rain, features original material written within the band with a guest appearance by fiddler Allie Kral from Yonder Mountain String Band on five tracks.

The band consists of Hunter White on guitar, Aden Beck on mandolin, Taylor Skiles on bass, and Harrison Olk on banjo.

As a taste of the new project, the guys have agreed to allow us to highlight one of the tracks, If I Was A Ramblin’ Man.

Pre-orders for Caught In The Rain are enabled now at the band’s web site. Its official release date is June 24, with an album release celebration scheduled that night at the Secret Society Bar.

Folks in Portland can catch them appearing with Henhouse Prowlers tomorrow night (June 9) at the Goodfoot Pub & Lounge.
