Have a listen to The Blu-Disc
The folks at Pinecastle Music have graciously offered to share a live stream of the new CD from Nu-Blu, The Blu-Disc, with readers of The Bluegrass Blog. The album was released last week, the band’s second, and their first with Pinecastle.
There’s a special justice in Nu-Blu and Pinecastle working together, as the band was the last act signed before the original Pinecastle Records folded in February 2010. In fact, they had a completed project ready for release, which the eventually distributed on their own. With The Blu-Disc, the circle is complete.
Nu-Blu features the singing of Daniel and Carolyn Routh, who play guitar and bass respectively, and manage the band. Levi Austin is on banjo and Austin Koerner on mandolin. Rob Ickes guests on reso-guitar.
Enjoy the music…
