Free download from The Gibson Brothers

It looks like Rounder Records is in the Christmas spirit as well. They are offering a free download of The Gibson Brothers’ version of Bye Bye Love from their upcoming Brotherhood album in exchange for your email address.

The song is a classic from The Everly Brothers, a Felice and Boudeleaux Bryant song that went to #1 for the Everlys in 1957. It fits perfectly with the theme for Brotherhood, which is a celebration of the great brother duet teams that influenced the Gibsons.

Leigh Gibson tells us that the song always makes him happy.

Leigh Gibson“I’ve never felt sadness while listening to Bye Bye Love. And I don’t feel any when I sing it. All I feel is joy. I think it’s because of their youth, and the perfect harmony from the original Everly version. I hear and picture those boys, and just know we’ll all be ok by the end of the song.”

To get your free download, just pop your email address into the widget below, and click submit. It’s a great track.
