Flatt Lonesome to Pisgah Ridge

| October 30, 2012 | 0 Comments

Pisgah Ridge Records has announced the signing of Flatt Lonesome to the label, which is affiliated with Mountain Home Recordings and Crossroads Entertainment.

A debut project has just been completed at Crossroads Studio, with a release expected in the first quarter of 2013.

Flatt Lonesome consists of Kelsi Robertson Harrigill on mandolin, Charli Robertson on fiddle, Buddy Robertson on guitar, Dominic Illingworth on bass, Michael Stockton on resonator guitar, and Paul Harrigill on banjo. Kelsi and Charli share the lead vocal duties in the band.

This really is a family affair. Kelsi, Charli and Buddy are siblings, and Paul and Kelsi are recently man and wife.

If you’ve not heard this talented young group, here’s a video recorded at Joe Val this past winter to give you a taste of their sound on a Hazel Dickens classic.

You can hear several audio tracks on the band web site as well.
