Flatt Lonesome recording live in Asheville

flattsFlatt Lonesome fans, listen up!

The band will be recording a live performance next week at the Isis Music Hall in Asheville, NC. The April 28 show will be captured on both audio and video but their label, Mountain Home Music, is being tight-lipped about what it will become.

Could it be a live album… a live concert DVD? I guess we’ll have to wait and see, but if you want a chance to be in on the excitement as it all goes down, you’ll want to get yourself to the Isis next Thursday night at 8:30 p.m. If you’ve never attended a live taping like this, it should be fun to watch the process – and dodge the camera folks running to and fro.

They’ll be playing music from their three popular records, plus a handful of the country covers that people enjoy so much at their live appearances.

The band released this blooper-laden video to invite everyone out next week.
