Every Mile from Nathan Stanley

Every Mile - Nathan StanleyYoung Nathan Stanley first hit the scene as a solo artist in his early teens, and now the grandson of the great Ralph Stanley has released his seventh album, Every Mile.

Over the years Nathan has floated back and forth between bluegrass, Southern Gospel, and traditional country. This latest on Willow Creek Records finds him in the Gospel vein, with a healthy dose of bluegrass in the mix.

Nathan is assisted here by a number of prominent Gospel performers, like Jeff & Sheri Easter, Adam Crabb, Wes Hampton,  Jeff Bates, Judy Marshall, and Becky Isaacs Bowman. From the country world he gets vocal help from Vince Gill and T. Graham Brown, and there is also a contribution from his Papaw, Dr. Ralph.

The production and supporting band are mainstream country, but bluegrass fans should enjoy the songs presented here.

Audio samples are available on iTunes if you want to check out the the sound. CDs can be purchased from Stanley’s web site.

Stanley plans to continue as a member of the Clinch Mountains Boys, while accepting some limited engagements on his own. You can keep tabs on his many musical and ministry ventures online.
