In the tradition of an old-time family music show, the Spring Street Theater will feature acoustic-styled music of the family string band variety.

Your host band is the award-winning Farnum Family, performing a variety of musical styles reminiscent of an early Branson stage show. Bluegrass, Gospel, Irish, Old-Time Western and novelty tunes abound, along with a healthy dose of homespun humor. Lively instrumentals, woven through spirited family harmonies, feature 5-string banjo, twin-fiddles, guitar, mandolin, Dobro, upright bass, penny whistle, piano and more.

The Farnum Family consists of six children along with mom & dad. They’ve been entertaining local and Midwestern audiences as a touring family band for over 10 years. Favorite venues include Silver Dollar City Music Festivals and the Ozark Folk Center in Mountain View, Arkansas, as well as performances ranging from Cody, Wyoming to the Texas Rio Grande Valley. Parents Norm & Trish have previously performed for many years combined at Silver Dollar City, the Roy Clark Theater, the Shepherd of the Hills Vaudeville Show, and as a Duet on the now historic Lake Queen on Lake Taneycomo.
