Megan McKamey, a young vocalist, songwriter, and banjo player from East Tennessee, is set to release her first album, Here’s Your Goodbye, on July 15. Ahead of the full project, she has dropped the title track to radio as a single through Airplay Direct.
All twelve tracks are her original songs, with supporting contributions from top bluegrass artists like Tim Stafford, Ron Stewart, Jason Burleson, and Steve Gulley who produced and tracked the record at his Curve Studio in Cumberland Gap, TN.
If Megan looks familiar, you may have seen her performing at the Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Show in Pigeon Forge, TN, or from her being featured as Miss September in the 2014 Banjo Babes Calendar and CD.
Here’s a sample of the single…
The 21 year old will be soon begin touring with her own group, as best she can while completing her nursing studies at Walters State Community College. Megan also performs on banjo with the Tyler Williams Band.
