Darren Nicholson on Blue Ridge Country tonight

things_left_undoneOne of the strongest projects I’ve yet heard this year is Darren Nicholson’s Things Left Undone. The Balsam Range mandolinist really stretches out and explores his wide range of talents on this record, with a great lineup of sidemen and a strong selection of songs.

CDs are available for mail order from Darren’s web site, but it’s not yet widely available online.

You can have a listen to the album tonight (5/28) when Nicholson visits the studios of Blue Ridge Country, WBRF 98 FM, and sits down with host Judith Burnette for a track-by-track play through. She says that they will talk about the record as well during the 8:00 p.m. hour (EDT), and get some details about the songs contained within.

WBRF broadcasts at 98.1 FM from Galax, VA and reaches a wide area over the air. Those outside their broadcast range can listen online at www.blueridgecountry98.com.

We’ll have a review soon at Bluegrass Today, but until then, tune in this evening and check it out.
