Cory Walker filling in with Skaggs

Cory WalkerQuick response from Skaggs Family Records with regard to a new banjo player for Kentucky Thunder…

We are told that Justin Moses will perform with the band through the end of January, and that Cory Walker will then take over temporarily through early March. Ricky will use that time to choose a new full time banjo picker, to be announced before the busy summer season begins.

Cory was the founding banjo man with Sierra Hull & Highway 111, and had been recognized as a Bluegrass Youth All Star by the IBMA while still a teen.

Hope he is working on his speed!
