Class Act news – BMR and Crowe with The Boxcars

Class Act Entertainment has announced the signing of Blue Moon Rising to their talent roster.

The East Tennessee-based band is headed by singer/songwriter Chris West on guitar, with Tony Mowell on mandolin, Rusty Ferrell on banjo, and Brandon Bostic on bass. Class Act will now be representing them exclusively for live performances.

Mike Drudge with Class Act also noted that J.D. Crowe will be available for select dates in 2014 with The Boxcars. Both Ron Stewart and Harold Nixon of the Boxcars are former members of Crowe’s New South. Crowe officially retired at the end of 2012, but you can’t keep a road warrior home but so much. I can’t imagine a collaboration of these talented artists could be anything but exciting.

Drudge will also be handling 2014 dates for Ron Block, who will be touring in support of his current album, Walking Song, as his schedule with Alison Krauss allows. Ron is booking shows with a solo, duo, trio or band configuration.

New for next year at Class Act as well is Nashville singer/songwriter Irene Kelly, who has a bluegrass CD due in February. She is booking now for 2014 and beyond.

Contact information for Class Act is available online.
