Carley Arrowood to Darin & Brooke

Carley ArrowoodDarin & Brooke Aldridge have announced that Carley Arrowood is the new fiddler in their band, filling the spot vacated when Becky Buller left to pursue her solo career earlier this Fall.

At just 18 years of age, Carley has already assembled an enviable record of first place wins at fiddlers conventions, and took sixth this year at Galax. In addition to her work with Darin & Brooke, she is a freshman in college, who is working on a solo recording project of her own with Jim VanCleve producing.

She joins a talented group that includes Dwayne Anderson on bass, Collin Willis on reso-guitar, and Tyler Collins on banjo. Darin plays guitar and mandolin on stage, with Brooke on mandolin. Carley also assists with harmony vocals.

They are taking most of December off, but will be back for a New Year’s show in Raleigh, NC followed by the Jekyll Island Bluegrass Festival over New Year’s weekend.
