Event Details

IBMAThe International Bluegrass Music Association has another of their online professional development seminars scheduled for this week.

This next one will be held on Wednesday (2/16) from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. (EST), and the topic is Developing a Business Plan. It will be presented by Al McCree, who speaks widely on a number of business topics, and who also operates an independent record label and music production company.

IBMA offers this basic course description:

Regardless of your role in the music industry, a business plan is a valuable tool to plan and manage your enterprise. This session provides the purpose and value of business planning in the entertainment industry and the nuts and bolts of how to do it.  A similar session was one of the most  highly rated at World of Bluegrass 2010.

If you are thinking of starting a new business, or are interested in tweaking your current business plan, this webinar is for you!

Once registered, each participant logs in via their computer, allowing them to watch and listen to McCree’s presentation, and ask questions in real time.

The fee for the 2 hour webinar is $40 for IBMA members, and $50 for non-members. Space is limited to 25 participants.

To register, contact Nancy Cardwell at IBMA (888-438-4262, [email protected]).
