Brad Hudson signs with Pinecastle

Brad Hudson signs a contract with Pinecastle Records, represented by Ethan BurkhardtBrad Hudson, reso-guitarist with Sideline, has signed with Pinecastle Records for a new project which will feature both his vocal and instrumental prowess.

Bluegrass fans will recall seeing Brad recently with Lorraine Jordan & Carolina Road, touring as a part of their Country Grass shows. He says that when the Sideline opportunity popped up, he jumped at the chance to play some aggressive bluegrass with two of his musical heroes, Steve Dilling and Jason Moore.

“After a long stint with Carolina Road and being apart of the Country Grass project, I just decided that I wanted to be a part of a killer band.

I appreciate all the great oportunities with Carolina Road, and being asked to be part of some great things, but it was time to make a change.”

Prior to working with Jordan, Brad was plying his trade in the Gospel music world. He toured with Jeff & Sheri Easter, and did a number of big Homecoming shows with Bill Gaither and the Gaither Family. As a younger man, he worked for many years with Dolly Parton and her family, a favor that will be returned when he starts on his album. Dolly has agreed to sing one with him, a song of hers called Smoky Mountain Memories.

Joining up with Sideline coincided with the offer to record for Pinecastle, which Hudson says feels right to him.

Brad Hudson“I felt it would be a good time to focus on my own music, and getting it out to the world for people to hear.

My wife Crystal and I, and our kids and our family, are very excited about what the future holds for me and our family. As are all my fans and friends in the bluegrass and Gospel world as well.”

The Easters are also signed up to sing with Brad on the album.

Should be a good’n.
