Bobby Osborne will be the subject of a 2-part interview on BlueHighways TV. It will appear on the Behind The Dream program, hosted by Mike Scott, with part 1 airing tonight (11/29) at 8:30 p.m. (EST) on cable networks that carry the feed.
The discussion, conducted between Osborne and Glen Duncan, centers around Bobby’s 60th Anniversary album, Memories, which serves as the jumping off point for a flood of his personal memories from six decades in the music business. Few people in bluegrass have been where Bobby Osborne has been, from early days performing with his brother Sonny as The Osborne Brothers, recording with Jimmy Martin, and working the hard road before mainstream success came their way in the 1960s.
Part 2 is set to broadcast next month.
Just before the Osborne special tonight is an episode of Bluegrass Road at 8:00 p.m., hosted by Darin and Brooke Aldridge, with appearances from Mountain Faith, The Punches Family, Special Consensus, Little Roy and Lizzy Show, The Easter Brothers, and The Edwards Family.
