Bluegrass Today Weekly Airplay Chart - 8/8/14Our August 8 Weekly Airplay chart is out, and Larry Sparks has returned to the #1 position with Bitterweeds from his 50th Anniversray album, Lonesome and Then Some.

The Bluegrass Brothers also return to the Top 5 with Memories Of My Childhood, tied with Rhonda Vincent’s Only Me at #3. Filling out the Top 5 are Balsam Range (Moon Over Memphis) at #2, Darrell Webb (Flying South To Dixie) in the 4 spot, and Detour (Too Blue To Have The Blues) at #5.

Other big winners include Tim Stafford and Blue Highway, both of whom have two songs on this week’s chart, as do Darrell Webb, Flatt Lonesome, and Del McCoury.

Debuting on the chart this week are:

  • Flatt Lonesome – Dangerous Dan
  • Ron Block – Ivy
  • Donna Ulisse – My Prayer
