Bluegrass bus news

Knowing how much bluegrass fans obsess over their favorite artists’ preferred mode of transportation, we are delighted to provide two pieces of bluegrass bus news.

First up, The Roys have a new sponsor, and a new look for their bus. They have partnered with Team Realtree Outdoor Energy Drinks, who make high-powered beverages in a variety of flavors, targeted at folks who spend a lot of time outdoors. Like at a bluegrass festival, perhaps?

The next time you see The Roys rolling down the highway, you’ll notice the new bus wrap, extolling the virtues of the RealTree family of products.

In keeping with the theme…

Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out have a new road vehicle. That’s right, the big red bus they have called home for many years is no more, and the guys want to christen their new ride with an appropriate name.

To that end, they are holding a Name That Bus contest with a IIIrd Tyme Out prize package for whomever suggests the best name. The wionner will receive:

  • Autographed Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out merchandise
  • Autographed Grand Ole Opry Program (from the band’s performance on 8/31/12)
  • Autographed Limited Edition Anniversary Concert poster
  • Photo with the band – and the bus

To enter, send your suggestion by email to 3tobus@eastpublicrelations.com. Entries will be accepted through September 17 at 6:00 p.m. (EDT), with a winner announced during IBMA week at the IIIrd Tyme Out Anniversary Concert on September 26.
