Blame It On The Bluegrass

| December 16, 2010 | 0 Comments

We told you in February about Valerie Smith & Liberty Pike recording their next album at the International Bluegrass Museum in Owensboro, KY. The band was serving an artist in residency at IBMM, and after teaching workshops and playing shows at area schools during the day, they would record at the museum in the evenings.

Valerie has announced that the CD is set for a January 11 release, and that the title track, Blame It On The Bluegrass, is available now to bluegrass radio through AirPlay Direct. Here’s a taste of the song, written by Liberty Pike fiddler Becky Buller and Elizabeth Shrum.

Val is accepting pre-orders for the album on her web site, where you can also purchase her Christmas single, Send Yourself Home For Christmas.
