Doctors have diagnosed a dissection of his renal artery, and a procedure is scheduled for today to reinflate the artery and install a stent to keep things flowing.

Following this catheterization, Ben will need some undetermined time to rest, but he is hopeful of being back on the road soon. In the meantime, Alan Bartram of The Del McCoury Band and The Travelin’ McCourys will fill in with Yonder Mountain.
