It’s a big night in Nashville for the IBMA – the first-ever live online stream of the International Bluegrass Music Awards. Click Here to View!!
The broadcast will be available here at Bluegrass Today starting at 7:45 p.m. (EDT), with our red carpet interviews of nominees and other bluegrass celebrities hosted by Katy Daley.
The interviews will run through to 8:15; the awards show proper begins at 8:30.
The main attraction will be hosted by Laurie Lewis and Del McCoury, and will include the presentation of the 2012 awards, plus live performances from Dailey & Vincent, The Gibson Brothers, IIIrd Tyme Out, Blue Highway, The Boxcars, Frank Solivan & Dirty Kitchen, and Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver.
It’s an historic moment for IBMA, and for Bluegrass Today and Bluegrass Nation, who will be broadcasting the show online.
Note to everyone in Nashville: local start time is 6:45 p.m.
