Jessica StilesBluegrass/country/Gospel singer Jessica Stiles has dropped a first single from her upcoming vinyl EP, Little Darlin’.

It’s one she wrote called Answer Him, which features Jessica singing with harmony vocals from Lester Armistead of the Tennessee Mafia Jug Band and Terry Eldridge of The Grascals. Also assisting on this track are Mike Compton on mandolin, Charlie Cushman and Josh Williams on guitar, Shad Cobb on viola and clawhammer banjo, and Kent Blanton on bass.

The song, and the arrangement, have an old-timey feel a bit reminiscent of The Carter Family.

Answer Him is available for download purchase in iTunes, and radio hosts can get the track from Airplay Direct.

Look for Little Darlin’ on 7” vinyl later this Summer.
