444 Chicken Bone Road video from Cindy G

Cindy GCindy G’s life in bluegrass should may familiar to a lot of folks. She caught fire with the music as a youngster, only to be drawn away by more commercially viable musical a young woman. A life as a professional singer was her young adulthood, but the sounds of banjos and mandolins called her back. It wasn’t until her middle years that she assembled her own band and released, The Road, her first bluegrass album performing her original songs in 2012.

And now, while she is at work on her next album with Jim VanCleve, with studio assistance from Bryan Sutton, Scott Vestal, Rob Ickes, Aaron Ramsey, and Todd Phillips, she has released a video for one of her songs from The Road. 444 Chicken Bone Road tells the story of a special friendship that spanned a generation.

 

The song is currently available as a single to radio via Airplay Direct, along with a Christmas song, Raise Your Voices. The single and the full album can be purchased online from CD Baby, iTunes and most other digital resellers.
