James King back home

Event Details

James King has been released from the hospital and is back home under the watchful care of his wife, Julie.

He had been hospitalized last week for treatment of Acute Deep Vein Thrombosis. While there, the doctors also found that King was suffering from gall stones, and some liver issues were detected as well.

Julie says that James is on strict bed rest for the next few days, without access to his phone.

Further treatment will be required, and there is no word yet as to when King can return to the stage.

Anyone who would like to share words of encouragement can send them to:

James King
P.O. Box 10179
Danville, VA 24543

Julie also especially asked that we thank the bluegrass community for all their prayers and kind thoughts.
