2010 SPBGMA nominees

Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music of AmericaThe Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music in America has announced their nominees for their 36th SPBGMA Bluegrass Music Awards.

As the name suggests, this organization supports and honors more traditional bluegrass music with awards being presented for top artists, songs, songwriters, radio stations and DJs.

The nominees for the big one, Entertainer Of The Year are:

  • Jamie Dailey
  • Lorraine Jordan
  • Doyle Lawson
  • Russell Moore
  • Junior Sisk
  • Rhonda Vincent

These awards will be announced and distributed to the winners during SPBGMA’s National Convention, to be held in Nashville at the Sheraton Music City Hotel, February 4-7, 2010.

    Just wanted to let everyone know that the SPBGMA convention this year was one of the best. Rhonda Vincent and Gene Watson was a home run for the show. The awards were good Tim Graves is Dobro Player of the year. Congratulations to all of the winners and nominees
